Contrast-safe logo backgrounds

Add at least one SVG logo version and one brand color to generate matched backgrounds.

Logo backgrounds will appear here.

The tool checks brand color pairings first, then uses black or white only when your palette does not create enough contrast.

Before you post it

Want to review the logo before generating social backgrounds?

Check scalability, readability, and possible logo risks before you create branded background files for launch, presentation, or client delivery.

Contrast workflow

Stop guessing which logo color works on which background

Brand palettes often look great on their own, but not every color pair is readable. This tool checks the contrast, chooses the safest logo color, and prepares background files you can actually use.

01

Paste SVG logo versions

Add primary lockups, logomarks, or wordmarks. SVG keeps the logo sharp and lets the browser recolor it cleanly.

02

Add your brand colors

Type colors manually or paste a Colorfly palette to create backgrounds from the same colors you already use in the identity.

03

Download matched files

Get square, portrait, and story-size backgrounds as PNG and JPG files, ready for social posts, launch graphics, and presentations.

Background generator FAQ

Questions about logo background matching

What does the Logo Background Generator do?

It matches uploaded SVG logo versions with your brand background colors and generates combinations that keep the logo readable with enough contrast.

Why is SVG recommended?

SVG files can be recolored cleanly in the browser. PNG and JPG logos can be placed on backgrounds, but they cannot be reliably recolored without damaging the logo.

Does this use AI or credits?

No. The tool runs in your browser, so it does not use AI tokens, logo review credits, or logo export credits.

Can I paste a Colorfly palette?

Yes. Copy a Colorfly palette, select the color palette box, and press Ctrl + V to import color names, HEX values, roles, and CMYK values when available.
